For me our final video was really like a third back up plan. When we first started, I had the idea of doing completely different bands in a solo project. This was completely scrapped when Sam and I teamed up and we began to work on a video for a less well known band together.
Then, after the that, we had a whole idea and concept to use the Soul Tree in town to film our video, unfortunately, when we found out that it cost £200 to rent for the day and the bands' sponsor said no to paying for them, so yet again, we had to scrap the idea, and unfortunately, everything else we had for it (such as storyboard, and locational ideas).
It was between the first and second visits to the Junction that Sam and I together decided that it was in our best interests to use the space offered to us in the Junction. We asked if we could join the ones filming there and they were happy to offer us a place.
After this if the Junction had not been free and a problem had arose, we would have had to use the Corner House to film our video. Luckily we never had to put that fourth back up plan into action.
